Dad I want to thank you for my life, as a little boy I remember how you worked so hard for us kids to have a home , most dinners wasn't the greatest but it wasn't the food it was the time we spent as a family dinner at 430 p.m. I can't remember one time going to bed hungry. You taught us kids to appreciate our family and to work hard for what u have.. As I got older I realized, our relationship was something special. I always wanted to spend all my time with you, and I'm so glad I did, no one can take those away from you and i. When I got to high school I knew I was an athlete, and all I ever wanted to do was make you so very proud of me, I use to look on the sideline in football or the stands in basketball and think wow ok he is here now , everything is OK my dad is here. Then i started my family and I worked hard at being a good father like you. My kids are successful cause of you, and lacie was so grateful and proud that her grandpa attended her ball games and was healthy enough to see her graduate college. Dad you lived a great life, is it hard letting go yes it is, but u have prepared us kids to move on and being proud hard working americans. Thank you for the time we were given. I love you dad, a man I call my hero
