Crystal D. Slentz , age 57, of Cadiz, Ohio, died Friday morning, September 11, 2015 in her residence following a one-year illness.
She was born September 25, 1957 in Canton, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Thomas John and Verna Mae Fitzgerald Schlatt .
She was formerly employed at the Canton Regency Nursing Facility for about 20 years as an STNA. Crystal was an extremely devoted fan of Bob Seger, having attended many of his concerts over the years.
She is survived by a son, Michael H. Slentz of Sherrodsville, O., a daughter Holly Slentz of Canton, O., and a sister, Lynette Jovingo, with whom she resided.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 18, 2015 in the Zion Cemetery near Sherrodsville where interment will follow. There will be no calling hours observed.
