Travis Charles Belew, age 69, of 8215 Autumn Road S.W., Bowerston, Ohio, was recently discovered deceased in a wooded area near Leesville Lake after going missing from his home on January 10th of this year.
He was born July 1, 1955 in Canton, Ohio and was the son of Charles Ralph Belew of Bowerston and the late Patricia Mae (Martelet) Luther.
He was a retired carpenter who worked for his father at the former C.R. Belew Builders in Canton. Travis enjoyed building things and he was also fond of walking and hiking.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his sister Renee J. Smith with whom he resided, an aunt Betty Jo Radcliffe of Massillon, OH, and six cousins.
