Obituary
Stephanie Jo (nee Yanice) Maynard, age 55, of the Mineral City, Ohio area, passed into eternity peacefully Sunday morning, September 3, 2023, in the Cleveland Clinic Mercy Medical Center in Canton, Ohio.
She was born March 3, 1968 in Union Hospital, Dover, Ohio and was the first daughter of Sally A. Yanice of Strasburg, OH, and the late Joe A. Yanice, who died February 13, 2011.
She was a 1987 graduate of the Horticultural Program at Buckeye Career Center and Tuscarawas Valley High School. Steph was an excellent landscape gardener and homemaker.
Present to meet her in Heaven are her beloved Dad, Joe A. Yanice, Paternal Grandparents Joe and Regina Yanice, Maternal Grandparents David and Betty Postlewaite, and Aunt Jeanne Denino.
She is survived by Marty, her husband of 33 years, her "Mom" Sally Yanice, a sister Jennifer Otte, neices Chloe Otte and Meggie Otte, Aunt Ann Wolfe, and cousins Kae, Lisa, and Joe.
A private graveside service, conducted by Pastor Chad Stutzman of the Grace Church of Sugarcreek was conducted Monday morning at the New Cumberland Cemetery. The Baxter-Gardner Funeral Home at Sherrodsville was entrusted with arrangements.
