Robert R. Wade

Robert R. Wade, age 83, a resident of the Sunnyslope Care Center at Bowerston, Ohio, died  late Friday afternoon, June 7, 2018 in the Trinity Medical Center West at Steubenville.

He was born March 27, 1935 in Barnesville, Ohio and was the son of  the late Hanford and Mary Elizabeth Anderson Wade.   His wife, Charlotte Jean Conroy Wade, died April 2, 2010.  In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Lewis, Thomas, Charles "Don", and Raymond Wade.

He was a retired farm laborer who worked for many years for the Mizer Farms on Route #250 in Cadiz, and was a member of the Bowerston Family Baptist Church at Uhrichsville, Ohio. 

Funeral services will be conducted 6:00 P.M., Monday, June 11, 2018 in the Baxter-Gardner Funeral Home at Sherrodsville with Dr. Gene Keplinger and Pastor Tim Keplinger officiating. Calling hours will be held Monday from 5:00 until time of services at 6:00 P.M. in the funeral home.  Private interment will follow on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 in the Holly Memorial Gardens at Colerain, Ohio.  His church will host a memorial dinner in his honor at a later date.
