Paul E. Harvey, age 69, recently of Sherrodsville, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday morning, December 23, 2025 in his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born December 5, 1956 in Canton, Ohio and was the son of the late Gurney James and Dovie Lee (Davenport) Harvey.
He retired in 2022 as a journeyman pressman for PM Graphics in Streetsboro, Ohio. He grew up in Dellroy, Ohio. Above all, Paul was a loving father and delighted in his dedication as a Papaw to his three grandchildren. He was quite fond of riding motorcycles and going on adventures with his other biker friends. Paul loved watching football, but his favorite NFL team was the Cleveland Browns. He felt very fortunate that he was able to spend the last months of his life with his sister and brother-in-law Elaine and Dan Dingler watching the television show "Landman". He expressed love and appreciation to all of his family and friends.
He is survived by his two daughters, Deidra M. Harvey of Canton, OH, and Alyssa M. (Fiance Cameron D. Clapper) Harvey of Carrollton, OH, four sisters, Mrs. Flora (Don) Parker of Carrollton, Kaye Fisher of Canton, Mrs. Elaine (Dan) Dingler of Sherrodsville, with whom he recently resided, Mrs. Mechele (Ryan) Huprich of Louisville, O., a brother, Kenneth (Stella) Harvey of Canton, his beloved grandchildren Brayden Moore, Allie Harvey and Kendall Horsfield, and his longtime girlfriend Ellen Chastman.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 17, 2026 in the Dellroy Church of the Nazarene, 7 Liberty Street, Dellroy, Ohio with Paul's nephew, Pastor Eric Dingler, officiating.
