Patricia Sue Knight, age 44, of 406 Front Avenue S.E., New Philadelphia, Ohio, died early Tuesday morning, June 8, 2010 in Union Hospital at Dover following a lengthy illness. Prior to her disability, she was a self-employed day-care provider in her home.  She was born  March 17, 1966 in Dover, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Robert Franklin  and  Judith Lynn Dishong Cool, Sr. 

She was a member of the Uhrichsville Foursquare Church.  Patricia loved to help people whenever they needed it the most.  Always the "Rock" in her family, she always endeavored to keep her family together.  She called her children on the phone daily.  She was an unselfish soul who never put her own needs first.  Patricia was a 1984 graduate of New Philadelphia High School.

She is survived by two sons and a daughter Jamie L. (Misty)  Cool of Newcomerstown, O., Gary L. Knight, Jr. and his fiancee Jennifer Nichols and Sarah C. Knight and her fiancee Cory Fox, all of New Philadelphia,  her five grandchildren  Jackson Nichols, Jazzmyn Knight and Gracie Knight, all of New Philadelphia, and Samuel Cool and Abagail Cool, both of Newcomerstown,  and two brothers and three sisters, Tommy (Wendy) Hines of West Virginia, Robert  F. Cool, Jr. of Dennison, O., Barbara Austin of Uhrichsville,  Mrs. Otto (Roberta) Hsu of Huntsville, Alabama, and Rebecca Cool of Dennison.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 P.M. Friday, June 11, 2010 in the Baxter-Gardner Funeral Home at Sherrodsville with Rev. Larry Fletcher officiating.  Interment will follow in the Union Cemetery at Uhrichsville. Calling hours will be held Friday from 10:30 A.M. until time of services in the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made for the benefit of the family through the funeral home.
