Leola Karron Prevot

Leola Karron Prevot, age 73, of rural Bowerston, Ohio, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a brief illness.  She passed from this life early Wednesday morning, January 24, 2024 in her residence surrounded by her loving family. 

She was born January 25, 1950 and was the daughter of the late Faye Wood and Bliss (Bourne) Wood.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Kenneth Wood, and her in-laws Henry and Elizabeth Prevot.

Karron was a registered nurse who retired after 38 years of service to the medical community.  Her various places of employment included Riverside Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Newcomerstown, the former Schoenbrunn Healthcare Center in New Philadelphia, and various other local medical facilities. She was Christian by faith. 

She is survived by her husband Paul F. Prevot, Sr., whom she married in October of 1968, a daughter, Mrs. Angela E. (Greg) Merryman of Bloomingdale, OH, her two grandchildren Rylee and Evan Merryman, and three brothers, Ronal (Liz) Wood of McDonald, GA, Bob (Shirley) Wood of Germano, OH, and Dean (Beverly) Wood of Toccoa, GA, and a sister Sharon Behner of Hopedale, OH.
