Laura L. (Brown) Cadle

Laura L. (Brown) Cadle, age 49, of New Philadelphia, Ohio (Roswell), went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday night, December 17, 2024  at the Ohio’s Hospice Truman House at New Philadelphia surrounded by her loving family.

She had been a production employee at ProVia in Strasburg for the last five years.  Many will remember Laura when she was a waitress at Dave’s Diner in Sherrodsville where she was always a favorite of the restaurant patrons.

She was born February 19, 1975 in Canton, Ohio, and was the daughter of Linda K. (Buehler) Brown of Bowerston, OH and the late Joey Brown, Sr., In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents Wilfred and Freda M. Buehler, her uncle Francis Buehler, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law Neil and Becky Cadle.

She was a faithful member of the Dennison Church of God and always made her faith in God a priority.  Plus, she has always placed a high priority in the activities and relationships of her family and friends.  Laura has always been willing to share her meaningful stories of her faith in Jesus Christ, even after the onset of her illness.  A lifelong resident of the area, she was a 1994 graduate of Conotton Valley High School.  Laura has always been a beacon of positive energy and attitude and will be missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Brian K. Cadle, whom she married March 16, 1996, her two children Neil and Madison Cadle of the home, her brother Joey Brown, Jr. of Bowerston, a step-brother David (Suzi) Robin of Surprise, AZ, her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Eric and Ashley Cadle of Uhrichsville, OH, and a number of nieces and nephews.  

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Monday, December 23, 2024 in the Sherrodsville Wesleyan Church, 73 North Church Street, Sherrodsville with Pastor Jim Wallick officiating.  Interment will follow in the Sherrodsville Memorial Gardens.  Calling hours will be held Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. in the Baxter-Gardner Funeral Home.  To leave an online condolence message, please visit the funeral home website.
