Kathryn E. Sickles

Kathryn Edith Sickles, age 84, formerly of Geneva, passed away at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in Sherrodsville on Tuesday, November 10, 2020.  She was born April 4, 1936 in Media, PA, the daughter of Harry and Elizabeth (Freeborn) Spore. She married Ronald E. Sickles in Geneva, Ohio on September 17, 1955.

Kathryn was a Nurse’s Aide for many years and also worked around the Geneva area as a cosmetologist. She was a proud member of Geneva VFW Post 6846. Kathryn was a wonderful lady and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by daughter, Terry (Don) Beckley; son, Doug (Michelle) Sickles; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; daughter-in-law, Janice Sickles; and sisters, Liz, Helen, Marion (Nick), Mary, Ginny, Shirley and Sue. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; son, Mitch Sickles; her parents; brothers, Harry, Andy and Bill; and brothers-in-law, Jack, Phil, Carl and Jim.

A Graveside Service will take place at 11:30 am, Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva. Guests are required to follow current pandemic guidelines, wear masks and practice social distancing.
