Jean Carol Brosius

Jean Carol Cornett Brosius, age 72, passed away Monday night,  March 7, 2022 at her home in Sherrodsville, Ohio. 

She was born December 22, 1949 in Milan, Indiana and was the daughter of  the late Ransom and Cleta M. (Homan) Cornett and widow of the late James R. Brosius.

She was a retired employee of Campbell Hausfield in Harrison, Ohio. Carol was a kind soul who was always willing to be charitable. She loved the outdoors and the challenge of bargain hunting. But her primary focus was always her family. 

She is survived by a daughter, Renae Dudley of Sherrodsville, a son Travis (Brooke) Faulkner of Akron, OH, two step-sons Rob (Deniece) Brosius of Dover, OH and Rich Brosius of West Lafayette, OH,  two step-daughters  Rene (Jim) Carpenter of Coshocton, OH and Rachell Brogins of Columbus, OH,  three granddaughters  Natalie (Andrew) Hoover and Madison (Ty) Page, both of Sherrodsville, and Isabella Leahy of Akron, and two great-grandsons, Hunter Hoover and Aiden Hoover, both of Sherrodsville.

In accordance with Carol's wishes, she will be cremated and no formal services will be observed. The Baxter-Gardner Funeral Home at Sherrodsville has been entrusted with her arrangements. To leave an online condolence message please visit the funeral home website.
