Dale D. Sullivan, age 60, of Carrollton, Ohio (Vo-Ash Lake) died suddenly Tuesday morning, September 14, 2021 in her residence.
She was born January 3, 1961 in Providence, Rhode Island and was the daughter of Dorothy Barboza Nelson of Warwich, Rhode Island, who survives, and the late Edward Nelson. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a half-brother.
Dale was primarily a homemaker and was a member of the Vo-Ash Chapel at Vo-Ash Lake. She loved to play cards with her neighbors and friends on Saturday nights. She could always be counted upon to help her neighbors in need, often offering pet-sitting services for her friends. Dale was a loving wife who will be missed by her husband John and her friends and neighbors.
In addition to her mother Dorothy, she is survived by her husband John G. Sullivan, whom she married April 23, 1983, a sister, Mrs. Debra (Robert) Caverly of Providence, Rhode Island and two step-sisters, Kim Perez and Erica Perez, both of Warwick, Rhode Island, and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 18, 2021 in the Baxter-Gardner Funeral Home at Sherrodsville with Pastor Ben Boggess officiating.
