Craig L. Burrier

Craig L. Burrier, age 57, of 413 Main Street, Bowerston, Ohio, died suddenly early Monday morning,  June 18, 2018 in the Trinity Hospital Twin City at Dennison after becoming ill in his home.

He was currently employed as a truck driver for the Carroll Asphalt and Stone Company in Carrollton, where he had worked since 2009.

He was born June 17, 1961 in Coshocton, Ohio and was the son of  Constance Mae Donley Burrier of Amsterdam, OH and the late Harold Lavern "Charlie" Burrier.  in addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Christi Renee Miller.

He attended the New Life Center Ministries at Barnhill, OH and was someone who walked the path of his faith through his attitudes and deeds. Craig was a great friend who could be counted on to listen and provide advice and was described as someone who "knew that we possess two ears and one mouth".  He was a very kind and patient man who was remarkably devoted to his family, and he showed that love and dedication by checking on them with regularity.  Craig was a fan of NASCAR and  was very adept at the hobby of "couponing". 

In addition to his mother Constance Burrier, he is survived by  his wife Misty Dawn Mullins Burrier, whom he married March 5, 2011, a daughter Arista Burrier and her companion Stefan "Gage" Orwick, a son, Sethin Burrier, a step-daughter  Mrs. Santana (Logan) Murral,  two step-sons  Dillon Best and Robby Levengood,  three sisters  Mrs. Cathy (Steve) Kinney of Harlem Springs, OH, Corena Barstow of Amsterdam, and  Mrs. Cara (John) Borland of Augusta, OH,  two granddaughters Rielle and Daisy Murral and a large family of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 P.M., Saturday, June 23, 2018 in the Leesville United Methodist Church, 90 Market Street, Leesville, Ohio  with  Pastor Fred Battles officiating.  Calling hours will be held Saturday prior to the funeral service beginning at 1:00 P.M. in the church.
