Candace Marie French

Candace Marie French, age 37, of  Orrville, Ohio died suddenly Tuesday, June 27, 2023 in her residence.

She was born April 8, 1986 in Kissimmee, Florida and was the daughter of Mrs. Lu Ann (Husband Tom T.) Leach of Mineral City, OH and Ralph Dennis French of Florida.  She was also raised by a step-father Russell D. Butler of Millersburg, OH.

Candace had developed a hobby out of rehabilitating and repurposing old furniture.  She enjoyed cooking, and was recently learning how to properly prepare Mexican Food.  She was generous by nature and was particularly willing to help out her friends.  She had attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Ocala, Florida. 

In addition to her parents and step-fathers, she is survived by her children Trey Nicholas Gores of Coshocton, Ohio, Jayden Lee Smith and Arayah Elizabeth Ann Seeley, both of  Mineral City, and a brother, Brian Joseph Butler of Akron, OH, a step-sister Lauren Butler of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held 11:30 A.M., Friday, August 11, 2023 in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 521 Stratton Avenue S.W., New Philadelphia, Ohio. A luncheon for Candace's friends and family will be hosted at the church at 1:00 P.M. The Baxter-Gardner Funeral Home in Sherrodsville, Ohio has been entrusted with her arrangements.
