Bonnie L. Vaughan

Bonnie L. Vaughan, age 91, of  Bolivar, Ohio, died Wednesday morning, December 20, 2023 in The Inn at University Village in Massillon.

She was born January 16, 1932 in Columbus, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Jim and Dorothy (Greenwood) Bucher.  Her husband, John P. "Jack" Vaughan, Sr., whom she married January 10, 1948, passed away on June 23, 2018. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law Jeffrey and Antoinette Vaughan, two brothers, Jim Bucher and Bob Bucher,  a half-brother, Wendell Whitlock, and a great-grandson, Jack Barkan.

Bonnie was primarily a homemaker for most of her life and a former member of the Order of Easter Star. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed by her family and friends. 

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Cindy (Greg) Manson of Massillon, OH,  two sons, John P. Vaughan Jr. and his companion Debbie Garabrandt of New Port Richey, FLA, and Robert "Jay" (Jill) Vaughan of Sherrodsville, OH, 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Pastor Vicki Muth will officiate a private family graveside service at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, December 23, 2023 in the Sherrodsville Memorial Gardens where interment will follow.
