Nancy V. Castellucci

Nancy V. Castellucci, age 91, of  Malvern, Ohio, died Thursday afternoon, May 10, 2018 in her residence following a long illness.

She was born August 21, 1926 in Akron, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Louis and Rosina Rossi Petros.  Her husband Dominic J. Castellucci, whom she married August 23, 1947, passed away on March 24, 2011.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by  a daughter Nancy Burkhart, a son Emilio V. "Cass" Castellucci,  three brothers, Frank, Ralph, and Dominic Petros, and two sisters "Vi" Scurto, and Elizabeth Burwell, who died just one day prior to Nancy.

Nancy was primarily a homemaker, but also held various jobs throughout the years. She was a faithful member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Malvern. Traditionally Italian, Nancy was an attentive mother and loving grandmother. Her family, and in particular her grandchildren, were her life's priority.  

She is survived by three children Louis M. Castellucci and Rosanna Castellucci, both of Malvern, and Mary Angela Castellucci of Alliance, OH, a sister-in-law Ann  Petros of Minerva, OH, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Father Victor Cinson will celebrate a concurrent Mass of Christian Burial for both Nancy and her sister Elizabeth at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church at Malvern, with interment of her ashes to follow in the St. Francis Cemetery.  A period of visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until  the Mass begins at 11:00. The Baxter-Gardner Funeral Home at Sherrodsville is handling arrangements.
