Jason W. Hidey

Jason W. Hidey, age 42, of  Malvern, Ohio, died  suddenly early Friday morning, January 10, 2020 from injuries received in an automobile accident on State Route 30 in Hanover Township, Columbiana County.

He was born August 20, 1977 in Dennison, Ohio and was the son of James E. Hidey Sr. of Dennison, OH and the late Linda Joy Brannon Hidey. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by  a brother, Jeremy J. Hidey.

Jason was currently employed as a supervisor at Millwood, Inc. at Vienna, Ohio, where he had worked since 2006.  He was fond of making periodic visits to casinos to play cards and gamble a little. He savored the freedom of taking long rides on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.  He also enjoyed hunting, working, and spending time with his family.  He will be missed by his family and numerous friends. 

He is survived by his  fiancée, Carry A. Wireman with whom he resided, his three children Johnathan M. (Sunny) Hidey of Strasburg, OH, Zachery W. Hidey (fiancée Brittany Fornash)  and Victoria Hidey (companion Ryan Pairsan), all of Minerva, OH,  his step-children Shawn Wireman of Minerva, Logan Wireman, Anthony Breckenridge;  Elyxis Wood, Evelyn Erden, and Madysin Malone, all of Malvern, and Andrew "A. J." Parrish of Youngstown, OH, his brother, James E. "Hos" Hidey Jr. and Mary Vint of Sherrodsville, OH, a sister, Mrs. Lorie (Sean) Geraghty of Pinellas Park, Florida, his step-brothers  Kevin Hendricks of Uhrichsville, OH and Jeff (Tammy) Hendricks of Dennison,  four grandchildren  Jayse Fornash, Ryker Hidey, Hazel Hidey, and Trinity Hidey, all of Minerva, and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Gathering in Jason's honor will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. in the Baxter-Gardner Funeral Home at Sherrodsville.  No formal funeral services will be observed. To leave an online condolence message please visit the funeral home website.
