Bonnie L. Tressel

Bonnie L. Tressel, age 59, of 240 Holly Road S.W., Mineral City, Ohio passed away Tuesday morning, September 13, 2017 in  the Aultman Hospital at Canton, Ohio.

She was born April 23, 1958 in Canton, Ohio,  was raised in East Sparta, and was the daughter of  the late Donald Floyd and Grace Ann Yurasits Fravel.  Her husband, Gary L. Tressel, whom she married February21, 1976, died August 24, 2008. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother Donald (Sam) Fravel.

Primarily a homemaker, Bonnie was very fond of her life in her rural home.  There, she loved to engage in activities such as cooking, completing crossword puzzles, and reading books.  She spent a large volume of her time with her son Jeremy, and depended on the loving companionship of her sister JoAnn.  She also cherished the time she spent coloring with her special niece Ela.  Bonnie was a 1976 graduate of Sandy Valley High School. 

She is survived by  her son Jeremy A. Tressel of Mineral City, two sisters Donna Ellington of New Philadelphia, O. and  Mrs. JoAnn (Tim) O'Brien of Canton, and two brothers Stanley (Sue) Fravel of Ooltewah, Tennessee and  Ed Fravel of Fort Myers, Florida.

A public graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 19, 2017 in the New Cumberland Cemetery with  Rev. Doug Mallernee officiating, with interment to follow.
