Oh, what great memories I have of Verna. She was my ticket taker for many years at the Conotton Valley High School. She took money for me for high school games and junior high games. We would talk endlessly during those times. She even went to a couple away games with me , so I would have someone with me. She would always sit in the front row of the high school basketball games and keep score. She had a little book that she wrote in - fouls, baskets, players names, everything about the game. She was a companion to me for many years and I hate to see her go. RIP Verna, I'm sure you are watching basketball games and keeping information in your little book.
