Terri L. Seran

Terri L. Seran , age 72, of  Carrollton, Ohio, died Tuesday afternoon, January 10, 2017 in  the Mercy Medical Center at Canton after a long illness.

She was born January 19, 1944 in Dennison, Ohio, raised on the family farm at Sherrodsville, and was the daughter of  the late Lewis Virgil, Sr. and Oneta Jean Roby Cross .  

Terri was primarily a homemaker, but was previously employed in the housekeeping department of Aultman Hospital at Canton prior to her illness. Terri was recognized as many people's "Second Mother".  She always had an ear to lend and advice to give.  Her central focus was always her children and later, her grandchildren. 

She is survived by a son C. Alan (His Companion Christine Volzer) Seran of Navarre, O., a daughter Michele L. Seran of North Canton, O.,  a brother Lewis V. (Betty G.) Cross, Jr. and a sister  Mrs. Mike (Cheri) Laco, both of Sherrodsville, her four grandchildren  Jessica B. Seran of Canton, Preston A. (Tiffany) Seran of Creston, O.,  Justus M. Seran of North Canton, and Zaden Baca of Youngstown, O., and a great-grandson Andrew D. Seran of Creston.

Public calling hours will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017,  from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. in the Baxter-Gardner Funeral Home at Sherrodsville. A private funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home with  Rev. Milo Baker officiating.  Interment will follow in the Leavittsville Cemetery.  Contributions in Terri's memory may be made to the Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry, 211 Moody Avenue SW, Carrollton, OH 44615.
