Sharon A. Nicholas, age 53, of 207 High Street, Sherrodsville, Ohio, died Tuesday afternoon, April 4, 2017 in Trinity Hospital Twin City Emergency Room from injuries received in a motor vehicle accident.

She was born July 29, 1963 in Canton, Ohio and was the daughter of James and Mary Halter Frederick of Wakeman, O.  

Sharon was primarily a mother and a homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church at New Philadelphia, O., and a graduate of Louisville High School and the R. G. Drage Career Technical Center at Massillon where she studied  cosmetology.  Typically a person who liked staying close to home, she favored puzzles and scrabble with friends. She was partial to spending her time outside whenever possible, and her family noted that she rarely wore shoes.  Her preferred activity was spending her time with her grandchildren.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be fondly remembered by her large family and many friends. 

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband John R. Nicholas, whom she married April 7, 2000, her children Timothy Frederick and his companion Amanda Salsberry of Barnhill, O., Theodore Enold  and his companion Brooke Poage of Louisville, O,  Melissa Enold  and her companion Michael Lombardi, Cheyenne Nicholas, and Alexander Nicholas all of Sherrodsville,  her step-children  Johnnie Nicholas, II of Springfield, O.,  Cinnamon Perry and her companion Ryan Link and Raymond Nicholas, both of North Canton, O.,  Josh (Husband Karl) Enold, of San Diego, CA,  Barbarella Nicholas and her companion Doug of Canton, O.,  Anthony Nicholas and his companion Palav of Akron, O., Nicole ( husband Allen) Andrews of Sherrodsville, and Natalie Hidey of Sherrodsville, who was like a daughter to Sharon, a sister Michelle ( husband Todd) Conrad of Louisville, two brothers James (Marie) Frederick of Louisville, and Stephen (Debbie) Frederick of Damascus, O. and her large family of grandchildren Claymond Quarles and Timothy Frederick, Jr. of Barnhill, Mack Enold of Louisville,  Madison and Marissa Perry of North Canton, Macey Nicholas of Canton,  Ayden and Presley Nicholas of Akron,  A. J.,  Damion, Ashton, and Keirsten Andrews, and Leah Cox, all of Sherrodsville, and her nieces and nephews Shelby, Megan, and Kenna Conrad of Louisville, Matt  and Andrew Frederick of Louisville,  and Stephanie Frederick of Damascus.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 8, 2017 in the Baxter-Gardner Funeral Home at Sherrodsville with Father Jeff Coning officiating.  Calling hours will be held in the funeral home Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until time of services at 1:00 P.M.  Interment of her ashes will occur at a later date in the Sherrodsville Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Village of Sherrodsville, P.O. Box #31, Sherrodsville, Ohio  44675 specifically to help fund ongoing improvements to the village park.
