We want to express our sincere condolences to the Leggett family. Mr. Leggett always made us feel welcomed and appreciated. We always considered delivering his newspapers a gift since he was always so funny and caring. We miss him and know he was so very loved by his family especially his "Betty". Heaven will be a much more brighter place with him there.

God bless you and may He be with you!

So sorry for the Leggett family. I always enjoyed seeing Bob at the Christmas parties and the family reunions. He was such a sweet man with a big smile and a hug, and that cigar! He certainly loved his family and was so proud of all of theml....there's a great reunion in heaven I am sure.

Our sincere sympathy to the Leggett family on the loss of Bob. We have only had the pleasure of knowing him about two years now as we are new to the neighborhood, but it feels like we've lost such a good friend. Bob welcomed us to the lake with his humor and kindness and made us feel like part of the neighborhood immediately. We always looked for his smiling face when we arrived for a weekend or holiday and we will miss him dearly. Prayers for peace and comfort for his family and many friends. RIP Mayor Bob.

My condolences to the Leggett family. Prayers of comfort and peace. I always remember the cigar. But what I will never forget is his kind, comforting words during the planning of my Mother's funeral almost two years ago. His hugs and reassurance of the fact that Betty and my Mom we're in heaven together.

So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I don't ever remember visiting Baxter-Gardner when Mr. Leggett wasn't there. He was such a comfort when my parents passed, telling us stories about both of them. His heart was so big, it's had to imagine it fitting in his chest.

Tina, Bobby and Debbie, Our sympathy and Love to all of you. I have many GREAT memories of your Dad and Mom going back to the days when you two were DEMONS growing up how he would come and pick me up and trust me to your care. Every time I would talk to him I would remind him of the bill we left him at Gilly's (I am sure now they can settle that up). We will miss him and his Devilish ways. R.I.P. Bob.

So very sorry for the entire Leggett family. I always loved Bob's sense of humor. He always teased my mom and would make Dad chuckle.
When my sister, Dee Dee Richardson, passed away, Bob and Betty we're one of the first to come by the house.... bringing food and offering help. I'll never forget that visit.
R.I.P Mr Bob ... heaven has received an angel today.
