Pamela A. (Jones) Treherne

Pamela A. Treherne , age 53, of  Uhrichsville, Ohio, died  Tuesday afternoon, December 5, 2017 in the Community Hospice Truman House at New Philadelphia following a long illness.

She was born December 10, 1963 in Dennison, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Harold Victor and Cecil Joyce "Joy" Davis Jones.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Harold L. "Butch" Jones and two sisters Marjorie Fantin and Vickie Burdette.

Pamela was primarily a homemaker.  Bingo was one of her favorite activities, and she loved to prepare for the Christmas holiday each year.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and will be remembered by them and others as a caring sister and aunt. 

She is survived by two brothers John Henry Jones, Sr. and his best friend Mary Black of Uhrichsville and Theodore P. Jones of Uhrichsville and his companion Debbie Hatfield of Strasburg, O.,  nephews Scott Jones, Thomas H. Fantin, Jr., Ray Burdette, Jr., John Henry Jones, Jr., and Chad Jones, all of Uhrichsville, Roger Beckett of Sherrodsville, O., and, Jericho Jones of Port Washington, O.,  and nieces  Kimberly Thomas and Joy Burdette, both of Uhrichsville, Brenda Burdette of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, and Carla Jones Cantu of Los Angeles, California, numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, and Pamela's longtime friend and companion Matt Elvin of Uhrichsville.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday,  December 9, 2017 in the Baxter-Gardner Funeral Home at Sherrodsville with her nephew Mr. Jericho Jones officiating.  Interment will follow in the Union Cemetery at Uhrichsville. Calling hours will be held Friday from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Contributions in Pamela's memory may be made to Community Hospice of Tuscarawas County,  716 Commercial Avenue S.W.
