Marion W. Sandefur

Marion W. Sandefur, age 76, returned to his Heavenly Home on July 13, 2016 after a valiant battle with cancer.  His devotion to his family and firm belief in God ultimately gave him peace. He was born in Dellroy, Ohio to the late Fred and Eileen Hamm Sandefur. He is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years Susan Straughn Sandefur, four children Lora (Bob) Brozavic, Steve (Mary) Sandefur, Donna Bullard (husband Brad Bullard is deceased), and Dave (Hope) Sandefur, several grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, three brothers, three sisters, many nieces and nephews, and an extended Christian family.  Marion celebrated the fact of Jesus' Love, in which he ministered and mentored to so many.. 

A Celebration of Marion's Life will be conducted 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 16, 2016 in the Dellroy Christ Community Church with Rev. Ron Silver officiating.  Calling hours will be held Friday, from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. in the church, located at 20 East Main Street, Dellroy, Ohio. The Baxter-Gardner Funeral Home at Sherrodsville is handling arrangements.  The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Tuscarawas County, 716 Commercial Avenue S.W.,  New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
