Brittany L. Hartline

Brittany L. Hartline, age 30, of 4816 New Cumberland Road N.E., Mineral City (New Cumberland), Ohio, passed unexpectedly early Thursday morning, May 19, 2016 in her home.

She was employed for the last 12 years as a dental assistant for Dr. Scott Booth, DDS of Dover, Ohio.

She was born July 24, 1985 in Dover, Ohio and was the daughter of  Carol L. Sears Miller of New Cumberland and the late Taylor F. "Jakie" Miller Jr. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Taylor F. "Jake" Miller, Sr. and her maternal grandfather, James S. Sears.

She was a loving wife and mother who cherished her role as a housewife. Brittany quietly enjoyed her life, tending to her household and taking care of her menagerie of farm animals and pets. She was fond of working in her garden and constructing her own primitives and other crafts. She was a light-hearted and cheerful soul who touched many lives through her kindness.  Her presence will be sadly missed by her family and large circle of friends. 

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband Jeremiah D. Hartline, whom she married October 30, 2010, her son Lincoln Hartline of the home, Todd J. Miller, whom she called "Dad",  a brother, Jake  (Ashley) Miller and their son Gatlin, of Sherrodsville, O.,  her paternal grandmother Vera M. Miller of New Cumberland, maternal grandmother, Mary L. Sears of New Cumberland, and a large family uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 24, 2016 in the New Cumberland United Methodist Church with  Rev. John Dunn officiating.  Interment will follow in the New Cumberland Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held Monday from 4:00  until 7:00 P.M. at the Baxter-Gardner Funeral Home at Sherrodsville.  To leave an online condolence message please visit the funeral home website.
